Overview of the VideoLAN Client
VLC full form is VideoLAN Client and was developed by VideoLAN. VLC is a media player and also a DVD player called VLC’s Media Player. VLC is cross-platform software, which means it can run on Windows and also Mac OS X computers. To skip to a different point in the video, you can use the slider bar below the screen, which you will find represented by a yellow line. There are also buttons to move backward and forward in time as well as control volume while viewing videos. It has the same size as similar applications like Media Player Classic, VLC Media Player, and countless other media players. Another disadvantage is that you cannot organise files in folders within the file manager when using VideoLAN Client.
