MMID – Mobile Money Identifier:
The MMID full form is Mobile Money Identifier The MMID is a seven-digit unique number that is used for interbank transfer amounts, during mobile banking using the MMID specialization. MMID number is held by every bank account holder to identify the particular bank account. This MMID is unique for all account holders and this code is linked with the user’s mobile number for all banking transactions, especially fund transfers.
Method of generating an MMID:
Nowadays MMID has become the easiest and most comfortable way of banking. Here we can see all three ways of generating an MMID:
- Mobile Banking.
- Phone or call Banking.
- Internet Banking.
Mobile Banking:
Install the respective bank app, where you have an account. Login to that app and go to the account option and proceed to click on the Generate MMID tab.
Phone or call Banking:
Basically, it is like banking customer care. The user should call the respective bank phone number, choose the language and select the banking option. As soon as possible the user could talk to the customer care representative and the user should generate MMID. MMID will be sent to the user either through SMS or Mail.
Internet Banking:
Login into the respective bank website and provide your login details and you will be allowed to the home page and click on the “Generate MMID”. Later MMID will be generated.
